National Tree Day
Terry Shields Toyota has been actively involved in National Tree Day for over 16 years since our first Schools Tree Day event at Westmead Public School in 2001. Each year we work with local schools by being part of the country's biggest nature care event.
We hope to make a difference in our local community by creating positive environmental change and nothing could be more important for the planet or future health and wellbeing of our children.
In July 2017 Terry Shields Toyota participated in both National Tree Day & Schools Tree day, and planted over 100 native plants and trees at Burnside Public School and North Rocks Public School.
Each year, we welcome schools in our community to participate in tree planting by supplying seedlings and promotional material to educate and stimulate interest in the environment. If you would like more information or have your school participate in National Schools Tree Day in 2018 , please contact Elissa Glenn.
Terry Shields Toyota have been a supporter of Northcott Society for a number of years and we are very proud to be corporate partners in 2018.
Northcott is a not-for-profit disability service organisation providing personalised support to people with disability, their carers and families. For many years we have seen the amazing support that Northcott provides to their customers and the effect this has on all aspects of their lives.
Through our partnership with Northcott we hope to make a difference in the lives of children and adults living with disability, to enhance both individual creativity and help them reach their full potential.
The entire team at Terry Shields Toyota are proud to help support a wonderful and worthy cause.
Coleman & Greig Executive Challenge
Terry Shields Toyota proudly supports and participates in the Colman & Greig Executive Challenge, and has done so since its inception in 2013.
The event features teams of executives that compete in either a run, walk or cycle component of the event. The aim is to encourage executives to improve their health and fitness, whilst raising funds for three great causes - St. Gabriel's School for Children with Special Needs, Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children and My Westmead.
This year The Coleman & Greig Challenge will be held on Friday, 20 October 2017 to run, ride or walk in beautiful Parramatta Park.
Help us raise $175,000 for children with special needs and newborn care!
The Coleman Greig Challenge is an opportunity for businesses to support organisations making a difference to the lives of children and their families in Western Sydney. For more information on making a donation please click here
